SECTION 1 — THE TWO PRIMARY REPS REQUIREMENTS
To qualify as a Real Estate Professional under IRC Section 469(c)(7), a taxpayer must satisfy BOTH of the following tests in the tax year:
TEST 1 — THE 750-HOUR REQUIREMENT:
"More than one-half of the personal services the taxpayer performs in trades or businesses during the taxable year are performed in real property trades or businesses in which the taxpayer materially participates."
